Beyond his corporate commitment, he made a lasting impact in sports, leading Scaligera Basket, his hometown basketball team, and in culture, supporting the Arena di Verona Foundation for over 40 years.

In 2021, the President of the Italian Republic honored him with the title of "Cavaliere del Lavoro", recognizing his extraordinary contribution to Italian entrepreneurship.
