Raw Materials

The choice of ingredients is made by combining various factors: respect for traditional recipes, desire to constantly improve the nutritional products profile and to follow the new trends in the international markets, always oriented to the environmental sustainability, and care to the origin of the ingredients.
The main raw materials used for Vicenzi products are eggs, butter, flour, sugar, vegetable oils, and cocoa:

Fresh butter

Wheat flour is the most widely ingredient, fundamental for the production of pastries and snacks. The type of flour used and the degree of refining to which it is subjected, change according to the type of products that need to be made.

The Group is also more and more interested in the use of wholemeal flour, which gives it a higher fibre content.

As far as sugar is concerned, the Group’s plan is to move more and more significantly towards the use of sugar from the Italian certified supply chain, covering almost 30% of total requirements by 2022, using primarily in branded production.

RSPO certified oil palm products according to the RSPO Supply Chain Certification Systems, aims to develop and implement global regulations for sustainable palm oil production.

Sustainable cocoa whose purpose is to ensure that primary production is implemented correctly and without inconvenience for workers and local populations.

In addition to the “basic” ingredients, Vicenzi also uses noble ingredients such as:

Sicilian almonds

Selected apricot kernels

Hazelnuts and hazelnut paste that can be found in some versions of Bocconcini, Millefoglie puff pastries and Minivoglie assorted pastry.

MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity): 2 pallets some products are NO STOCK AVAILABLE – PRODUCED ON PURPOSES ONLY.

PALLETIZATION: standard 80×120 (EuroPallet). *the company is able to manage different types of pallets.

LEAD TIME (the time required for the preparation of the order starting from the confirmation of the proforma): 20 working days

PAYMENT CONDITIONS: L/C, T/T payments
