The big star in piazza Bra' lights up again

Thanks to the support of Matilde Vicenzi, every year we see the completion of the traditional Christmas preparation that makes Piazza Bra in Verona the favoured meeting place for adults and children, youngsters and families, where you can savour all the festive charm and atmosphere.

It is now 31 years that the big white steel star, the largest archisculpture in the world designed by Rinaldo Olivieri based on the idea of Alfredo Troisi, has carried on the tradition of the holiday season. In addition, the Festival of Nativity scenes with it from all around the world.

They have become one of the most important symbols of Christmas in Verona. For Verona and its citizens they represent a significant tradition that gives a positive sign of joy and serenity.

Giuseppe Vicenzi, always active in supporting and promoting the image of his city, Verona around the world, said he was "proud to support the efforts of the Foundation of Verona for the Arena providing the city and tourism with an initiative of great symbolic and cultural value such as the big steel star that has become the face of Verona throughout the world".
