Cannoli with Coffee Cream

Have you ever met someone who doesn’t like sweets? The recipe I am sharing today is so delicious that hardly anyone can resist it: here are Puff Pastry Rolls with coffee cream!

Puff Pastry


2 packs of  Puff Pastry Rolls

500g pastry cream

1 teaspoon of instant coffee

dark chocolate

pistachio sprinkles

coffee beans

whipped cream


To prepare Puff Pastry Rolls, start from the coffee cream: cook 500g of pastry cream following the basic recipe.  When almost ready, add a teaspoon of instant coffee, stir with a spatula and allow to cool.

Pour the cream in a pastry bag with a 3mm smooth nozzle tip and fill the Puff Pastry Rolls.

You can garnish the Puff Pastry Rolls ends in different ways for a nicer presentation: with dark chocolate slivers or icing, pistachio sprinkles or a knob of whipped cream with a coffee bean.
