It is one of the great classics of home cuisine and it’s also super tasty and easy to prepare: chocolate salami always makes everyone happy to share a snack! Don’t you agree? Here is my recipe prepared with my Savoiardo Vicenzovo Ladyfingers!

10 Savoiardo Vicenzovo Ladyfingers
4 egg yolks
4 tablespoons of sugar
100g butter
6 tablespoons of bitter cocoa
1 small glass of rum
100g biscuits
2 sheets of strawberry gelatine
2/3 strawberries
Beat the egg yolks with sugar to a soft cream.
Add melted butter, sugar, bitter cocoa and rum.
Once all the ingredients are mixed together, add coarsely crushed biscuits.
Mix chocolate and biscuits well, then put part of the mixture on a sheet of aluminium foil alternating it to layers of Savoiardo Vicenzovo Ladyfingers then roll in a cylinder shape.
Put in the refrigerator for some hours.
Soak the sheets of gelatine in water, wring out and dissolve them in little water, then mix with ⅔ of crushed strawberries; lay on a dish.
Slice the chocolate salami and serve.
