Lollipops with Chocolate and Amaretti d’Italia Macaroons

Very special lollipops: the recipe I am proposing today will take you back to your childhood because one of its main ingredients is chocolate! They are extremely simple to prepare, so simple that you can involve also the youngest ones in their preparation: don’t forget my Amaretti d’Italia macaroons and let’s get to work!

(30 lollipops)

  • 500g Amaretti d’Italia macaroons
  • 150g bitter chocolate 100g milk chocolate
  • 150ml cream
  • bitter cocoa powder as needed


Crumble my Amaretti d’Italia macaroons in a bowl and set aside.

Chop the bitter chocolate and mix it with heated milk in a second bowl.

Stir well to melt the chocolate and obtain a smooth and even mixture.

Allow to rest in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Now, let’s get physical: form small balls and put them in the bowl containing the crumbled macaroons and use them to coat the chocolate balls.  Insert the sticks as if they were lollipops, put in the refrigerator to rest and serve cold.
