Mascarpone cups with Amaretto di Matilde

150ml of cold coffee

24 Amaretto Cookies

150 ml of fresh cream

150 ml of mascarpone at room temperature

1 tablespoon of honey, or sugar if you prefer

Chocolate flakes to decorate, as desired (used in this recipe; white and dark chocolate)


Whip the cream by hand or with an electric whisk until obtain a firm consistency; add the mascarpone and honey, wisk again for a few seconds.

Place about 5 Amaretto cookies in each bowl and sprinkle with 1 to 2 teaspoons of cold coffee.

Shake the bowl lightly or mix the biscuits thoroughly so that they are all be soaked in the coffee.

Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of the cream into each bowl and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Before serving, decorate with chocolate flakes.

Finish with Amaretto di Matilde cookies on top.
